One of the final projects I had the pleasure of working on during my time at Six Flags Entertainment Corporation was the design of the 2021 Annual Report. This report showcased the company's performance from the previous year, along with projections for the future.
I was tasked with refreshing the look of past reports, which lacked vibrancy and energy. To reinvigorate the design, I made the year the focal point, using four of the brand's signature colors. I incorporated an image of one of Six Flags' most thrilling parks, creatively overlaying it within the font treatment.
2021 was a pivotal year as Six Flags began its recovery from the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a significant moment for guests as well, and the "The Thrill is Calling" campaign captured the excitement of the park reopenings and the company's path to renewed growth. I believe the annual report successfully conveyed the anticipation and energy of a return to normalcy, encapsulating the spirit of both the company and its loyal visitors.
