The International Pastors & Leadership Conference is one of the largest, transformative leadership conferences for visionaries, entrepreneurs, church pastors, and leaders around the world. Every year, thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs, tenured leaders, and influential change agents convene over three days to glean invaluable leadership insights from the visionary and founder, Bishop T.D. Jakes.
The conference takes on a new theme annually, and I was honored to be able to lead the design for the theme, Think Yourself Clear. The focus for Think Yourself Clear was based on data that shows a large percentage of leaders reporting that they feel a great deal of stress, ultimately leading to burnout. Think Yourself Clear was also for those leaders whom may have hit a roadblock in their ability to scale. The conference featured world renowned speakers from across the nation to equip leaders to acquire and hone the agility, resilience, humility, and confidence that you need as an effective leader.
The artwork for the conference’s Think Yourself Clear theme all began with the main campaign ad, which was used in various ways such as billboards, online ads and social media. I decided to use an image of an exploding light bulb, not in a negative sense, but to emphasize the outcome of a leader finally being able to think clear. The glass shattering is a symbol of an organization or church expanding beyond its boundaries, simply because the leader was able to emerge, recharge and think clear. The main image was then replicated into various iterations for banners, event name-tags, apparel and other merchandise.
